35 to 55 hours per week of childcare
Long-term placements with a strong focus on consistency

🕓 Part-Time Nanny Placements
At Nest & Kin, we understand that part-time roles are not all the same. A 10-hour role requires a very different level of search, matching, and coordination than a 30-hour role — which is why our part-time placement fees are structured fairly and transparently, based on hours and complexity.
How Our Part-Time Fees Work
Rather than a one-size-fits-all fee, we assess each role based on:
Number of hours per week
Schedule structure (single block vs split shifts)
Role complexity and requirements
Location and candidate availability
Urgency of the search
Below is a general guide to our part-time placement structure:
🔹 Part-Time Complex (26–30 hours per week)
From £1,500–£1,800 placement fee
Suitable for roles that include two or more of the following:
Split shifts (morning and afternoon)
Driver requirement
Special educational or emotional needs (SEN)
Language or specialist skill requirements
Challenging locations or limited candidate availability
Urgent searches or tight start dates
These roles require a more tailored and time-intensive search and are handled with additional senior support.
🔹 Part-Time Standard (16–25 hours per week)
£1,200 flat placement fee
Suitable for:
2–3 day roles
Regular morning or afternoon schedules
Standard nanny duties
Most typical part-time family needs
This is our most common part-time placement level.
Important note on hours:
While we are happy to discuss a wide range of childcare needs, our strongest placements are typically part-time or full-time roles with a minimum of 20–25 hours per week.
Roles with very limited hours may be subject to availability and cannot always be guaranteed.
