Training & Resources for Nannies

At Nest & Kin, we believe that great childcare professionals never stop learning. Continuous training helps nannies build confidence, improve their skills, and provide the highest standard of care to the families they support.

On this page we share useful training opportunities and resources that can support nannies in their professional development.

Whether you are just starting your nanny career or you have many years of experience, maintaining up-to-date qualifications is essential when working with children.

Paediatric First Aid Training

One of the most important qualifications for childcare professionals is Paediatric First Aid.

Many families prefer or require their nanny to hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate, particularly when caring for babies and young children.

This training provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond confidently in emergency situations, including:

• Infant and child CPR
• Choking response
• Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
• Burns and injuries
• Emergency response procedures

Keeping this certification up to date helps ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in your care.

How to Book

If you need to obtain or renew your Paediatric First Aid certification, please contact us and we will provide the upcoming course dates and availability.
